ANZCA Primary exam preparation
Find what is costing you marks across the MCQ, SAQ and viva, then fix it. Built by clinicians who’ve been in the exact same seat.
“I failed in 2025.1 and felt lost as an independent trainee. With ClintixPro I finally had the guidance I needed. With gratitude.”
The ANZCA Primary at a glance
The ANZCA Primary exam (PEx) has an MCQ paper (150 questions, 150 minutes), a short-answer (SAQ) paper (15 questions, 150 minutes) and a viva of three 20-minute stations. You need to pass the MCQ and reach a minimum SAQ score to be invited to the viva, and then score at least 50% across the SAQ and viva combined.
For current dates, eligibility and format details, see ANZCA’s exam information.
Effort isn't the problem. Direction is.
You're preparing around full clinical rosters, so every hour has to count. It's easy to spend those hours on what you already know, because nothing tells you what you don't. ClintixPro does: it finds the domains costing you marks and points your limited study time there.
Your pass likelihood, built from your full exam results, so you know whether you’re ready to sit and what to fix if you’re not.
Illustrative example. Your own results will differ.

Bring your supervisor into your preparation
Your DEMT or exam supervisor can see where you're falling short and help you work on it, so they don't have to keep asking how you're going. It's off until you switch it on, and it costs your supervisor nothing. You give them a connection code, and once they connect, you accept. Here's what they can see:
- how ready you are to pass, and which domains are holding you back
- how much of the syllabus you’ve covered, and how much you’ve practised
- which topics you should tackle next
- how you compare with your cohort, anonymously
- the trends across all the trainees they supervise
They can also set you targeted exams and help shape your approach to the paper. They can't see your tutor chats or your individual answers, and you can stop sharing whenever you like. When you do, their access ends.

Questions about ANZCA Primary preparation
Does ClintixPro cover the SAQ and viva as well as the MCQ?
Yes. You can practise MCQs and write SAQ answers to get a score and feedback against a model answer. Viva practice by voice is part of the Intensive plan.
Is the content aligned to the ANZCA Primary syllabus?
Yes. Questions and tutoring are scoped to the content the Primary examines. ClintixPro is independent of ANZCA, and its feedback is designed to support your preparation, not to replicate official marking.
How is ClintixPro different from a question bank?
A question bank gives you questions. ClintixPro finds which domains are costing you marks, shifts your practice towards them, and tutors the concept behind every wrong answer.
I’m working full-time. Is it realistic?
Yes. ClintixPro focuses each session on the domains costing you most, so short sessions still count.
How will I know where I stand?
Standard and Intensive plans give you an exam readiness score: a live read on how likely you are to pass, built from your mock exam results, so you know whether you’re ready to sit. They also show where you stand against your cohort on a curve, completely anonymously.
